The hotel is surrounded by valuable history. On one hand, the Casa de la Moneda, located just 50 meters away, was created in 1624 by King Philip II for the minting of gold coins. On the other hand, the renowned Spanish visitor, Don Juan de Badillo, resided in the vicinity while serving as the governor of the province of Cartagena in 1536.

Each room pays homage to the cultural expressions of the most representative regions and ethnicities of Colombia, such as: Pastos, Wayuú, Laches, Muisca, Quiramas, Embera.
